Dutch suspect wanted for November shooting arrested at Dortmund Airport
Authorities in Germany arrested a Dutch man wanted in connection with pistol-whipping a victim before shooting at them in an incident that took place in the Netherlands last November. The 50-year-old man was arrested at the Dortmund Airport on Sunday, the Federal Police and district prosecutor’s office confirmed to NL Times.
The suspect arrived on a flight from Belgrade, Serbia on Sunday afternoon at about 3 p.m. He used a Dutch passport when he got to the border control desk in the airport. When authorities ran a check on his identity, they discovered the outstanding arrest warrant.
