Hamas frees the four Israeli female soldiers

AGI – Four Israeli female soldiers, kidnapped by Hamas during the attacks on October 7, 2023, have been freed by militants controlling Gaza in exchange for the release of 200 Palestinian detainees from Israeli prisons. This marked the conclusion of the second prisoner exchange under the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.
The young women, Karina Ariev, Daniella Gilboa, and Naama Levy, all in their twenties, and 19-year-old Liri Albag, are in good health and have been reunited with their families after 477 days in captivity. While citizens of the Jewish state celebrate the return of the four young women in the streets, the Israeli government accuses Hamas of violating the agreement, which initially stipulated the release of all civilian women hostages still alive
